Fabulous Fox Theatre - Atlanta Customers Reviews
Rod Stewart, got better as the concert progressed
This concert was a package deal, opening with Cyndi Lauper. I had actually forgotten how much I enjoyed her music. What I did not care for was the political commentary from the stage. Agree or disagree with her perspective, that is my personal opinion.
At first, Wicked's mike was turned low, and the band was quite loud. My husband and I thought perhaps it was to mask his lack of voice. About 4 songs in, he started getting louder and sounded great for the most part. We are both getting tired of audiences singing for the musician. We were disappointed to hear Maggie May sung mainly by the audience. It did not help that the man next to us felt that we had come to hear him sing, and he sang EVERY song at the top of his lungs. The women behind us held a loud conversation throughout half of the concert until my husband reminded them that we were trying to enjoy the concert. Our neighbors got up to do "whatever" 4 times during the concert.
If it were not for the annoyances of people who have no concert etiquette, frankly, we would probably give this a 5-star rating.
